Seeking Debbie Slee, Your sister loves you and wants to know you are okay.

I received a very touching comment on this blog yesterday, and would like to share it with the blogosphere and any one else who happens to come by.
The reason I write, I’ve been searching for my own sister who I last heard from in 2001. I only spoke with her once since our mothers passing back then. She called me from Victoria BC which is where she resided with her 2 daughters. When I last saw her she lived in low income housing and was also on a methadone program through either Gaurdell or an Outreach program. Because of her lifestyle I am especially worried about her. Her name is Debbie Slee, maiden name Jackson. Age is 48 I beleive, born july 9. She never had a bank acct or a sin #. Last we spoke she also told me she has diabetese. She was born in Niagara Falls but relocated to Victoria with a Jim Potter in the late 80’s. Oldest daughters name Amanda who would be aprox 18yrs of age today.
I am writing this in the hopes that someone may know her whereabouts or know of a way to track her. I even thought if she still lives through the system to pay her rent, it might be possible to get my phone # to her for I realize they probably couldn’t give me access to where she is for obvious reasons. I would so appreciate any help in locating her.

This message is for Janie from Debbie’s sister-in-law susan brennand. It is by chance I came across this posting as just a few months ago I heard from a second party that Debbie called my brother her husband but that he had just recently moved and so she was looking for his new number and that means she must have called either on of her three children living in niagara falls and fort erie or one of my family members. I really don’t know if Janie is living in ontario but she knows me and my number is in the phone book if she wants to call. I will try to track down Debbie’s last phone number from my brother if he still has one. Janie should talk to Josh, Jennifer or Erica as Debbie did keep in touch with them.

Debbie and I we the best of friends first and then when she married my brother we we the closest of sisters in law until our lives went down different roads. I hope she contacts someone soon to put everyone’s mind at rest.
