Police keep insisting that Fritzl’s wife was completely unaware of the secret family in her basement.

Personally, I find that very difficult to believe.

Sister in law describes Fritzl as a scary tyrant, so frightening that she herself was scared to even talk to him at family gatherings. She paints a picture of her sister as a victim afraid of her husband.

Good lord, fear is fear, but come on! If I knew my sister was married to a violent scary tyrant, I’d address it with her. never would I turn the other way.

Now, a witness who lived in a flat above the dungeon claims he saw Frau Fritzl assist Herr Fritzl in stocking the cellar with groceries, far more than a family of five would need.

Frau Fritzl innocent victim, indeed.
