Police thanked the media for the strong and timely response to the Amber Alert.
Edmonton Police Chief Mike Boyd thanked all the officers involved in the investigation as well as the public. “Officers in the EPS and local RCMP detachments as well as members of the public should be congratulated for their great work in locating the missing girl so quickly,” said Boyd.
“But this investigation is far from over….the suspect remains at large, and we ask all members of the public to be vigilant and to call police if they have any information relating to him.”
