Another Father & Son Team

I came across the following news tonight this morning that completely put me in mind of Chelsea Dawn Acorn, another 14 year old girl who got in with the wrong father and son duo but didn’t live to regret it.

Ont. father, son charged after 14-year-old girl taken to Alta.

The unnamed girl, from Blackstock, Ont., went missing Oct. 1. Durham regional police now allege that 54-year-old Steven White, of Stouffville, Ont., drove his 22-year-old son, Tyler James White, and the teenage girl to the airport, paid for their flights to Alberta, and lied to police about the whereabouts of the two.

The 14-year-old was found in an Edmonton drug house.  She had been sexually assaulted.  She met her adult abductor (who she still thinks of as her ‘boyfriend’) online.  Her grandparents reported her missing October 1st.

This is not Tyler’s first offense against a minor.  He’s already been charged with with abduction of a person under 16, sexual interference and sexual assault in another case.  White Sr. has been charged with being an accessory after the fact and obstructing police.
